Biography

Champa Lattanasouvannaphonh has experience working as a free-lance tourist guide, a lecturer at Department of Tourism Management (Lecturing on the ethics of tourism and Sustainable Tourism Development at Souphanouvong University), and he is egistered as a Ph.D. candidate in Tourism Economics, UNIMAS, Malaysia. Champa is also working as a Consultant for the Luang Prabang Green School Project, which is being implemented by the Urban Development and Administration Authority (UDAA) in Luang Prabang and supported by The Asia Foundation. The Luang Prabang Green School Project works on Community-Based Integrated Waste Management, including integrated waste management training for school teachers, students,  and villages. Working with the project coordinators, Champa and the project team are training schools on waste separation, operating a recycle bank, composting, as well as the cost-benefit analysis of proper waste management in Luang Prabang.
